Our May Exhibition starts tomorrow! Our latest exhibition by Felicity Chapman, presents the outcomes of a self-directed residency exploring the dynamic relationship between diverse ecosystems and the eco-dying process.
Situated across three distinct aquatic environments in regional North and Far North Queensland - ranging from freshwater to saltwater - the project investigates how local ecological conditions influence the clarity=, colour and tonal ranges of plant-based monoprints.
This exhibition is on display Wednesday, May 6 to Sunday, May 31 in the Lagoons Gallery within the Botanic Gardens Cafe.
The cafe and gallery is open Wednesday to Friday, 9am to 2pm and weekends, 8am to 3pm (closed Mondays, Tuesdays and public holidays).
