As a stand-up comedian, Joey was part of the most successful Latino comedy group in history. He appeared on Paramount Pictures, “The Original Latin Kings of Comedy” with George Lopez, Paul Rodriguez and Cheech Marin. He starred in several specials including his own SHOWTIME network comedy special called, “Taking Off the Gloves”. He’s appeared in over 70 films and TV shows.
As a comedian, not only has he headlined at all major comedy clubs in America, he has performed and selling out around the globe for international audiences as well. He has toured with Russell Peters in the U.S. and internationally and was the first American comedian to headline in Vietnam for the Vietnamese. Joey has headline the Iconic Apollo Theater and has performed in front of 18,000 people at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia and 11,000 people at the Arco Arena just to mention a few.
