Join Clinica at the Library for an introductory mental wellness training workshop.
The first part of the training includes an overview of signs and symptoms for common mental illnesses and trauma. Then we talk about ways to respond to someone displaying signs of mental distress and how to refer them to resources, while considering basic tools of self-care in the role of helper. The education gained from this training provides value to communities as participants become a network of support to one another, while also caring for themselves.
