Come join us once again, for our very special annual event with SAG/AFTRA, Talent Fusion, and Indiana Actors Academy... FREE, Friday, November 20th, 6:30-9:30pm at the The Arts Federation, for the Lafayette Hub of Indiana Filmmakers Network - Featuring an in-depth discussion on Acting, Representation, Film and much more: With our honored guests: Kathy Byrne and Denise Jaeckel (SAG/AFTRA), Scott Tucker (TALENT FUSION), and Jim Dougherty (Online Actors Academy). **
Topics featured, will span on how to work with the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists (AFTRA), and Talent/Casting Agencies - featuring invaluable & detailed information for all Actors (stage, studio, screen, commercial, and voice), Models (of every sort), Filmmakers, Producers, etc.
Kathy, Denise, Scott, and Jim will all be discussing the business that is show-business: auditioning, talent agents & representation, actor's rights, contracts, casting & how to go about hiring actors for your productions, and much more.
There will also be a number of professional actors & filmmakers in attendance, as well as an informative Q & A during and afterwards. This will be our last Lafayette IFN meeting of 2023.

Kathy Byrne lives in Chicago and is the Director of TV/Theatrical Contracts at SAG-AFTRA Chicago. Previously she worked for the Chicago Film Commission.

Denise Jaeckel lives in Indianapolis and graduated from IU Bloomington with a degree in Telecommunications. She is a former model, professional actress, a member of SAG/AFTRA, and operator of Indy Stage, Studio and Screen (ISSaS).
