After debarking from River Lady, we board the bus and depart for Tuckerton Seaport, New Jersey. The Seaport has evolved over the past twenty-two years into a community museum occupying 40 acres located along Tuckerton Creek. Tuckerton Seaport offers a maritime experience with a focus on regional history and culture. You will have time to explore historic buildings, maritime exhibits, and hands-on activities, providing insight into the area’s rich maritime heritage. Your tour includes a guided pontoon boat tour on the Pohatcong II, a 30-foot pontoon boat, while you sail down the length of Tuckerton Creek. Learn about the rich history of the area while experiencing the wildlife of the creek firsthand.
