This March, we continue in our effort to share bargain-basement VHS exploitation that doesn’t deserve to be discovered.
Irma is in an abusive relationship with Rudy, a sadist, she’s happy with that, and she’s pregnant. She wants to keep the child, but Rudy want’s her to have an abortion. When Irma is abducted by Cobra, a vicious drug dealer/pornographer/weapon merchant, and sexually assaulted, she looses the baby. Fuelled by rage, Rudy takes revenge by assaulting the crime boss’s sister (“an eye for an eye”), setting off a series of violent revenge attacks. Only Irma can stop the nightmare as she evolves into bazooka-busting Commando Wild-Cat, aka the Lady Exterminator!
Jaw-dropping sleaze packed with so many out-dated and outrageous attitudes towards women, men, and just about everything else, it’s impossible to keep track of your gasps of disbelief. Indonesian film historian Andrew Leavold called this film “morally bankrupt” (he’s not wrong). But there are also laughs, all of them unintentional, because Lady Exterminator is trash at its lowest form. It belongs in the gutter.
