The first day of spring is marked by the Spring Equinox, when day and night are nearly equal across the world. While the equinox happens at the exact same moment worldwide, our clocks show different times depending on where we live.

Here in the Northern Hemisphere, the Spring Equinox marks the beautiful arrival of spring — a season of blooming flowers, longer days, and new inspiration. Meanwhile, in the Southern Hemisphere, it signals the beginning of fall.

Fun fact: Because of time zone differences, the United States hasn’t experienced a March 21 equinox during the entire 21st century, and we won’t see one again until 2101!

So let’s celebrate this special moment together with a relaxing evening of painting, laughter, and creativity.
