We are proud to present The Ladies of the House Charity event @ the Splash featuring Lisa Loud & DJ Lora!
Join us on Sat June 7th from 1pm at the Watersplash Beach Bar & Diner for an afternoon and night of great music and fun for two amazing local charities.
Get ready to dance and enjoy the beats from Lisa Loud and DJ Lora while supporting a charity close to our hearts. Don't miss out on this amazing event with the Ladies of the House!
With a strong female lineup of local talent (83 % in fact) we are certainly turning the tables! We pride ourselves in supporting female DJs and can't wait to showcase everyone.
We also have our amazing friends and talented DJ's Damo and Hedgie alongside!
Dance for Good - Spin for Change was an idea we had that about women empowering women and raising money for two amazing local charities that do so much good on the Island.
100 % of our profits will be going to FREEDA and JAAR who are both there relentlessly for people in their time of need, it's an honour to work and raise money for these charities ❤️

Music will start on the iconic Watersplash terrace at 1pm till 9pm (free entry) featuring some of Jersey's finest talent! 💃 then at 9pm the club opens until 2am (tickets required - over 18’s only).
Lisa Loud
Lisa Loud is without doubt the "The first lady of dance music", with a phenomenal career that has spanned 15 years, Lisa is widely revered and admired as one of the UK's top female DJ's. With her extensive musical background and expertise, Lisa can ignite any party in the world, from the fashion Glitterati of Milan to the discerning floors of Ibiza. Lisa combines glamour, elegance and sophistication on the decks with her trade mark of tribal infused tech house music - you can not fail to be seduced by Lisa's sounds!
As a youngster Lisa was always a fan of Dance music, enthusiastically following the likes of Mowtown and collecting 12"s by her early teens. However her love affair with house music developed when fellow DJ and friend PAUL OAKENFOLD persuaded her to jump on the otherside of the decks and learn the craft of DJ'ing. With a donation of records and OAKENFOLDS confidence, Lisa soon became his protégé, Opening up for him at legendary Clubs such as "FUTURE" in the Soundshaft and "SPECTRUM" at Heaven, these clubs are regarded throughout the world along side DANNY RAMPLINGS smiley faced SHOOM as the instigators of what has become the Global clubbing industry.
As the Scene soared it's way through the 90's, a nation of eager club promoters were born. Lisa had already established herself as a respected talent and her services as a DJ were in great demand, it was time for Lisa to spread her wings and embark upon new stomping ground! Lisa immediately became a regular fixture at parties hosted by the nations most charismatic promoters, the one and only DAVE BEER of BACK 11 BASICS, JAMES BAILLEE at Nottingham's VENUS, the extraordinary Barry's from the EMPIRE in Middlesborough and CHARLIE CHESTER'S well documented hedonistic FLYING parties, to name a few. With these feathers in Lisa's cap the world was fast becoming her oyster.
At the turn of the century Lisa's life as a DJ is more jetset than ever, leaving the motorways of the UK behind and adopting air travel as her means to get to and from a gig, these days Lisa is a fully fledged member of the international DJ's sect. With a diary comprising of shows from Eastern Europe to South East Asia, MISS LOUD is officially having the time of her life. From the year 2000, shows at HOME in Sidney, LA BELLE Shanghai, ZOUK in Singapore, XIII in Moscow, STERN RADIO Berlin, Various spots in DUBAI, ISTANBUL, BODRUM, EGYPT, KREMLIN in AMSTERDAM, FLORT in BUDAPEST, EMBASSY in Jakarta FASHION WEEK IN THE PHILIPNNES and a healthy dose of the Med SPACE, PACHA, ES PARADIS and a RESIDENCY AT MANUMISSION in IBIZA, accompanied by a sprinkling of the uks finer floors have given Lisa a firm idea of the worldly offerings available.
With a diary full of clubs like this, I'm sure it will come as no surprise that Lisa has spun with the most alluring of superstar dj talent. COX, TONG, OAKENFOLD, EMERSON, RAMPLING, FONTAINE, DAVE SEAMAN, SASHA, DIGWEED, DANNY HOWELLS, FELIX DA HOUSECAT, SISTER BLISS, SMOKIN JO, TALL PAUL, BRANDON BLOCK, ALEX P, LOTTIE, and so many more have all shared deck space, hedonistic nights and fuzzy mornings with The UK's First Female DJ.
DJ Lora
Lora has been spinning for almost 20 years, and travelled to every corner of the globe rocking countless dancefloors.
Lora has a huge catalogue of performances including;

Lora has had the privilege of being the support DJ for many incredible bands over the years. The Chainsmokers, The Eagles, Courtney Love, The Kaiser Chiefs, Elle Goulding, Tom Jones, Chrissie Hynes, Will Young, M People, Duran Duran and Eric Clapton.
Lora has been producing for the last 15 years and has had some chart breaking releases with huge records labels. She has worked with some of the biggest producers in the industry.
Those people came in the shape of renowned producers Tom Staar , D Ramirez, Chevy one and Neil Barber who have collaborated with Lora on a number of tracks.
Lora is now sitting on a catalogue of more than 50 tracks, with many more ready to go. Lora has had some huge releases with the likes of Toolroom Records, Simma Black, Strictly Rhythm, Milk And Sugar, Enormous Records, Vicious Recordings and the list goes on.
Lora has teamed up with some massive artists such as, Vula from Basment Jaxx, Vanilla Ace, Nate James, Inas X, Telana, Mark Knight, The great Ce Ce Rogers and the Legendary Siedah Garrett to name a few.
Her Collaboration with MKM “All Up to Maybe “on Enormous Records has gained over 3 and a half million views on Youtube alone, with another track being named no1 on Musicweek.com. Lora has regular chart records on Beatport and Traxsource, with one of her latest tracks on Simma Black being dropped on Radio One by Dj Danny Howard.

FREEDA’s Mission is to protect and empower women and children who have experienced domestic abuse, so they can take control of their lives, enabling them to live free from fear, as well as to engage with and support our Island community to prevent such abuse.
FREEDA was formerly known as Jersey Women’s Refuge.
JAAR
JAAR is an independent and confidential service helping people to recover from the trauma of sexual violence.
We are here to prevent and heal the trauma of rape and sexual assault.
We have a dedicated helpline, website and on-site counselling with access to qualified and specially trained counsellors and psychotherapists.
JAAR is working to prevent the incidence of rape and sexual assault in Jersey by raising awareness, dispelling the myths surrounding rape and promoting progressive thinking towards survivors of rape and sexual assault.
