Celebrate Mother’s Day with laughter as the nationally acclaimed Ladies of Laughter Funny & Fabulous Tour brings the funniest women in comedy to Field Hall for an unforgettable show of wit, warmth, and joy. The Sunset Lounge will be open before the show for “Mom-osas" and other treats.
Field Hall guests are invited to laugh-out-loud at the Ladies of Laughter “Funny & Fabulous Tour” with comediennes Wendy Leibman, Stephanie Blum, and Karen Rontowski!
Ladies of Laughter is a national competition and tour where female comedy stars get discovered! What started out as an annual videotape comedy competition in New York to honor comedian Mary Jo Wobker has grown to become “The Source” for women in comedy.
Established in 2012, The Funny & Fabulous Tour features the winners and best talent from its competition.
Past contestants include: Amy Schumer, Melissa Rauch, Tammy Pescatelli, Rachel Feinstein, Marina Franklin, Michelle Buteau, Zarna Garg, Kelly MacFarland, Dena Blizzard and countless other women who have become national headliners and have appeared in television, radio, and movies after their participation in Ladies of Laughter.
WENDY LEIBMAN
Wendy Liebman took a class called "How to be a Stand-up Comedian" at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education in 1984. Since then she has performed on Carson, Letterman, Leno, Fallon, Kimmel, Ferguson, and Hollywood Squares, and in clubs throughout the country. She has done specials for HBO, Comedy Central and Showtime, was a SemiFinalist on NBC's America's Got Talent, Season 9, and in 2021 she appeared on Showtime's "Even More Funny Women Of A Certain Age." Wendy lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two rescued Jindo dogs, produces "Locally Grown Comedy" at Flappers in Burbank, a show featuring her favorite stand-ups. Her special "Taller on TV" is available on Apple Plus.
STEPHANIE BLUM
The 2002 Professional Ladies of Laughter national winner, Stephanie appears in clubs and casinos around the country and as a featured headliner on the prestigious Holland America Cruise Lines. She's at well known venues such as Mohegan Sun Casino, clubs in Los Angeles like The Comedy Store, Improv, Flappers, The Ice House. Clubs and casinos on the Las Vegas Strip, as well as New York's Comic Strip, Carolines on Broadway, Gotham Comedy Club, The Improv, Stand-Up New York and you can catch her with Paul Reiser, Jay Leno and Arsenio Hall at the Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach.
KAREN RONTOWSKI
Karen has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, Sirius Satellite Radio, Comics Unleased, Comedy.com, Live at Gotham, Comedy Central and Mysteries of the Unexplained. You can see her Dry Bar Comedy Special called Ridiculous Me on VidAngel.com where it just received over 20 million hits and was also a Paranormal Panelist at the Los Angeles ComicCon. In between performing at Ladies of Laughter events, Karen tours with her popular, Psychic Stand-Up show where she combines her 35 years as a stand-up comedian with 25 years as a tarot reader.
