In celebration of Mother’s Day weekend, Ladies of Laughter is pleased to present Alyce Chan, a multifaceted talent known as a speaker, writer, producer, and stand-up comedian with a global presence. Her comedy has graced renowned venues such as The Stand and the New York Comedy Club in New York, as well as Yuk Yuk’s in Canada, among others. Her comedic prowess was further underscored when she emerged as a finalist at the esteemed Boston Comedy Festival in May 2023.
Alyce is not only a comedic force but also the creative mind behind MOMCOMNYC, a parenting platform boasting an impressive following of almost 200k devoted fans. Vogue even took note of her work, recognizing MOMCOMNYC as “the top six funniest parenting Instagram accounts.” Her comedic sketches have found a home on platforms like Scary Mommy, PureWow, and TodayParents, showcasing her knack for finding humor in the everyday chaos of parenthood.
Poppi Champlin is a comedically trained from Chicago Second City Training Center. One of the most versatile comics in the country, her stand-up resume is extensive:
Selected as the 2024 Ladies of Laughter national “Professional” winner, Poppi was featured as America’s Funniest Real Woman on The Joan Rivers Show; featured on Entertainment Tonight, Showtime, LOGO, Comics Unleashed, Comedy Central, VH-1, HBO and Oprah.
Poppy has opened for such comics as Ray Romano, Denis Leary, Bill Maher, Bill Hicks and Rosie O’Donnell. Poppy can be seen at comedy clubs across the country in her “Queer Queens of Comedy” show.
Erin Jackson is one of the fastest-rising comedians in New York City and the 2018 National Ladies of Laughter “Professional” winner. She works nightly in the city’s top comedy clubs and made her Netflix debut on Season 2 of Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready. She currently writes for the hit Netflix show, The Upshaws, and has appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers, CONAN, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Last Comic Standing. Erin co-hosted three seasons of Exhale, a panel talk series on the ASPiRE television network, and has been a panelist on sports and pop-culture programs on MSNBC, NFL Network and VH-1. Her comedy album, Grudgery, debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes comedy charts.
