Step back into the golden era of ABBA and join us at Allely Estate for a vibrant afternoon of empowerment, friendship, and fun! Inspired by the success of I Am the Woman That Empowers Another Woman, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
I have a dream, a song to sing
Allely Estate
Dress in your best 70s or bright, bold attire, and gather with other women to enjoy a Mediterranean-inspired long lunch under the sun (weather permitting to eat outside – rain option is the marquee). Savour delicious flavors, relax to the timeless tunes of ABBA, and raise a glass to supporting Dress for Success Auckland in their mission to empower women toward economic independence.
Bring along your pre-loved clothing, handbags, and costume jewellery for donation, and dive into our silent auction, where you can bid on fantastic items—all for a great cause.
What to Expect:
A continuous flow of Mediterranean cuisine as sharing platters, beautifully crafted by the talented chefs at Allely Estate.
Sharing Grazing Platters:
Bruschetta with prosciutto
Ragu aranchini, herb sauce
Focaccia, thyme and caper butter, taramasalata, Olives
Sharing Starters:
Beef kofta, tzatziki, shiraz salad
Halloumi wrapped in grilled zucchini, chilli honey, paprika dust
Mains & Sides to share:
Roasted lamb rump in oregano and chive butter, roasted rep pepper puree
Half roasted chicken with peri peri marinate
Vine roasted cherry tomato, pine nut pesto, crispy rocket
Warm Greek potato salad with red onion, olives, capers, dill, feta, sun dried tomato
Walnut, mint and pomegranate mixed leaf salad, with a pomegranate molasses and balsamic dressing
Desserts platter:
Rose water and pistachio baklava, macaroons, lemon mascarpone cheesecake bites
Silent Auctions throughout the event.
An afternoon of ABBA Live Music
Purchase commemorative bubbles from sponsor Wine Time “I have a dream, a song to sing” or purchase the previous commemorative bottle “I am the woman who empowered another woman” where 20% will be donated back to Dress for Success Auckland. Bubbles will be provided on the day for you to take away as a commemorative bottle.
