Ladies Kayak Fishing Trip
Pluff Mud Princess Education presents the 3rd Ladies Kayak Fishing Trip at Charleston Outdoor Adventures on beautiful Bowens Island! Join us on Sat, October 10th, 2026 at 9:30 AM for a fun-filled day of fishing from a kayak! This event is perfect for all skill levels, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned angler. Grab your best girl friends and come enjoy the beautiful outdoors while learning new fishing techniques and exploring the local creeks around Bowens Island via kayak.
We will meet at Charleston Outdoor Adventures Sharply at 9:15 AM where we will briefly cover expectations and safety for our fishing trip. As well as get everyone comfortable and situated with their kayak/ fishing gear.
Keep in mind the registration fee for this event includes your fishing rod, live/frozen bait, tackle for fishing as well as instruction/guidance on the water. But does NOT include the kayak for the event.
For this event, you are welcome to bring your own kayak or paddle board if you already own one and you are able to safely transport it to / from the launch location independently.
Otherwise, COA (Charleston Outdoors Adventures) has offered us a *discounted kayak rental fee for our 4 hour trip which includes the Sit on top kayak, kayak paddle and life jacket with safety whistle which is required to attend.
*You will receive the discount code/ instructions for kayak rental via email from your instructor once registered for this event. You can then use that discount code to reserve your 4 hour SIT ON TOP kayak rental for the date of our trip on October 10th 2026 for the 9:30 AM slot. (Rental fees- reg. $35.00, with discount- $29.00)
If choosing to rent through COA, you must complete your kayak rental reservation IN ADVANCE prior to the date of the event to ensure COA has kayak rental availibility and to secure your kayak for the time of the event.
If you fail to make your kayak rental in advance, your instructor as well as COA can not gurantee kayak rental availibility and you may be left without a kayak for the event so we do encourage that you register early or ASAP.
Otherwise, everything else will be provided with your registration fee including your fishing rod, live/ frozen bait, tackle , cold bottled water as well as hands on encouraging instruction/ guidance during the entirety of your trip.

Kayak Prep/ Safety Intro
Info: We will meet at COA where they will have our kayak rentals waiting on us (if reserved) and we will briefly go over some safety protocols as well as break down on fishing for the duration of our trip. Also, this is time to pass out fishing materials and ask any questions if applicable.

Fishing Time
Info: We will launch from Bowens Island and head into the Marsh/ creeks and target inshore species such as Redfish, trout and flounder. Mostly using live/frozen bait which will be provided as well as tackle and equipment.
