About this Event

After you have strolled Main Street to shop and enjoy a delicious dinner, join us for the annual Quartermania!

A fun bidding game (using quarters) on items donated from our Great Galena Businesses. Tickets are $15, which is your entry fee with paddle and includes snacks. Wine and beer will also be available for purchase!

This year’s event will be held at the Galena ARC on Saturday, September 7th at 7 pm. Gather your friends and come join us. Purchase your tickets today to join in on the annual fun!

**participating at Quartermania also gets you the opportunity to purchase more ticket entries for the Great Galena Giveaway ($300-600) value which we will be drawing the winner for at the end of the Quartermania**

What is Quartermania?

Quartermania is a bid/auction game. Many of our Galena businesses have donated items or certificates that will be up for grabs (The items up for auction always have a minimum value of $15 and many items have a much higher value, usually $15-40 values)

You pay a $15 entrance fee which includes your entrance, a paddle, and snacks at your table.

Each time an item is announced for bid, the auctioneer will tell you the cost to bid (generally a quarter). If you want to bid, you throw your quarter into the bucket on your table and hold up your paddle. The auctioneer then pulls a number from the drum filled with ping pong balls and will continue to pull numbers until a winning number is pulled!

After each item is auctioned off, everyone’s number goes back into the drum. So, provided you have put a quarter in the bucket, you always have a chance to win! Tickets are limited, so be sure to purchase yours ahead of time!

Limited quarters will be available for purchase at the event, and you are welcome to bring your own!
