Join us for an exciting day of fishing and learning at this Women’s Fishing 101 class! Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this event is designed to empower and educate women looking to get more involved with fishing. So get ready to cast your line and reel in some fun!

Location: Brittle Bank Park (185 Lockwood Blvd. , Charleston, SC)

At this Women’s Fishing 101 class, you’ll have the opportunity to learn essential fishing techniques, from how to use your rod/reel, knot tying ,rigs for fishing, casting your rod and much more. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the basics, ensuring you feel confident and comfortable on the water.

Whether you’re interested in freshwater or saltwater fishing, this event is great for both! We do primarily focus on inshore salt water techniques but the basics can be applied everywhere! We will learn about different species of fish, their habitats, and the best knots/ rigs to use to target them. You’ll also gain knowledge on fishing regulations and conservation practices, so you can enjoy this hobby responsibly.

Don’t worry if you don’t have any fishing gear! We’ll provide all the necessary equipment, including rods, reels, and bait. Just bring yourself, a positive attitude, and get ready to have a great time with fellow lady anglers.

Info: 2 hours for instruction to go over all the skills and basics of fishing to enhance your confidence and knowledge on the water.

Info: We will be fishing with live/ frozen bait from the Brittle Bank Park Fishing Pier. Everything will be provided.
