Golf Wichita is celebrating the women who make our courses what they are, and we would love for you to be part of it.
Saturday, September 26 at MacDonald Golf Course, the driving range at the Steve Hatchett Youth Golf Campus turns into an afternoon gathering. Doors open at 1:00 PM with vendors, complimentary refreshments from Wichita Brewing Company, and permanent jewelry from Charlie's Linx, a small local business. ShotSuite will be on site with a launch monitor so you can put some real numbers to your swing, and our golf professionals will be running clinics all afternoon with free range time for everyone. Representatives from local ladies leagues will be there too, ready to help you find a group to play with.
The first 50 guests go home with a goodie bag. Sign ups open right at 1:00 PM.
At 3:30 PM, up to 22 teams of two head out for a nine hole scramble. We have shortened the course and added a few mini games along the way, with prizes for those, because this one is about having a good time rather than posting a number. Registration is first come, first served on the day of the event. Prefer to stay at the range? It stays open until 5:00 PM, with contests and prizes running throughout.
Never played before? That is exactly who this day is for. Bring a friend, bring your clubs or borrow a few swings on the range, and come see what our golf community is all about.
