Lactation Support Group at SOHA Pediatrics

Our lactation support groups are 90 minute group meetings led by IBCLC, International Board Certified Lactation Consultants.

New families will receive support and guidance in common challenges such as:

• latching and positioning baby at the breast
• assessing milk transfer and infant weight gain
• increasing milk supply
• pumping or hand expressing milk
• introducing a bottle
• dealing with fussiness and sleep challenges
• returning to work
• dealing with unsolicited advice
• building confidence as a new parent
