Breastfeeding support groups are appropriate for many common lactation challenges including: assistance with latch and positioning.About this Event
During the support group, IBCLC will help assess concerns and make recommendations for ongoing support if needed. Sensitive medical scales are available at all groups for pre and post-feed weights to determine milk intake.
Support groups are NOT appropriate for complex lactation or medical situations. These are best served by a detailed home visit with ongoing support. To find an IBCLC to work with privately, please go to: NYLCA.org
