Call for Posters - Deadline November 24th
LACPA invites poster proposals from its student, post-doc/pre-licensed, and early career members. Proposals on any research, literature review, or theoretical topic related to the field of psychology will be considered.
The LACPA Foundation will present awards of $300, $200, and $100 for the top 3 posters at Convention
Call for Presentations - Deadline December 8th
The LACPA Convention Committee accepts proposals on a wide variety of topics. Here is a sampling of topics in which past attendees have expressed interest:
AI Revolution, Addiction, Couples/Relationship Therapy, Diversity and Social Justice, Geriatric Care, Innovative Therapeutic Techniques, Law and Ethics, Psychopharmacology, Sleep Management, Trauma Therapy, Women’s Mental Health, Youth Issues Multicultural perspectives on all topics are welcomed.
You do not need to be a LACPA member to submit a proposal, so invite your colleagues!

The Convention Brochure will be emailed in February 2026 to over 6500 mental health professionals in the Los Angeles County area.
