We are excited to announce that Laconia Flight Academy will be conducting an all day IFR Flight Training Workshop at our facilities at Laconia Airport on November 19th, 2024. LFA Instrument Pilot Ground School Workshop Details
- 1 day Course
- Meets on Tuesday, November 19th from 9am until 3:30pm
- Location: Laconia Airport Terminal Conference Room
- In Person workshop only
- Cost is $225 non-refundable; to be paid prior to start of the workshop
- Includes lunch!
By the end of the workshop instrument students will obtain a more in-depth understanding of all the topics that need to be considered when flying an IFR flight, and for the rusty IFR pilots, they'll have received a refresher on how to properly plan and fly an IFR flight.

***** Fly the Redbird Simulator as an Add-on Option *****
As an additional option for the workshop, attendees can sign up during the workshop to fly with one of our CFIIs at a later date, on our in-house Redbird full motion simulator, the IFR flight plan that they prepared during the IFR workshop. The reduced rate flat cost is $169. The Redbird session runs approximately 1.5 hours.
