Labyrinth Walk
The labyrinth has been a used as far back as the prehistoric period. Unlike a maze, there is only one way in and one way out. Metaphorically, it is the journey, the path we take throughout our life. A Christian walk uses the labyrinth to move on a specific path with a specific intention or thoughts of reaching the center of the labyrinth, symbolizing the center or the God within each of us. When we reach the center, we spend a few minutes meditating about who we are at the center of ourselves. We go back the same way, reflecting on our walk and our centering.
Each walk will be held in the evening, shortly before the sun goes down, taking advantage of this quieter time to meditate.
Meet in the parking lot and please bring a folding chair.
The event is free, but RSVPs to St. David's are appreciated.
Rain date Sunday, July 19.
