Join internationally recognized labyrinth master builder Lars Howlett for a transformative three-hour experiential workshop exploring the ancient wisdom, symbolism, and universal patterns woven into the labyrinth.
In this workshop, we'll explore this ancient archetype as a map, mirror, and mandala for exploring the metaphors of life. The labyrinth can help us better understand our individual and collective journey as we return to our center and orient ourselves with the universe. Together, we will reflect on our orientation, perspectives, and connection with the cosmos, using the labyrinth to behold our personal cosmology. Through making, tracing, and walking labyrinths, we can find our role in the evolving universe.
Lars will be helping us celebrate the labyrinth rebuild at Unity of Tustin, which is a replica of the Chartres labyrinth in France. Learn the ins and outs of labyrinths through stories and slideshow followed by a facilitated group walk on the new outdoor labyrinth.

👤 About Lars Howlett
Lars Howlett is a leading expert in the creation of custom labyrinths, ranging from exact replicas of classical and medieval designs to one-of-a-kind art installations created for healing, insight, and transformation.
A lifelong labyrinth practitioner, Lars builds, walks, and photographs labyrinths as a mindfulness practice. He is a Veriditas Faculty Member and Certified Advanced Labyrinth Facilitator, having trained with labyrinth movement pioneer Lauren Artress at both Grace Cathedral and Chartres Cathedral.
For three years, Lars apprenticed under master builder Robert Ferre, studying sacred geometry and the art of creating precise Classical and Medieval labyrinth patterns. In 2015, he founded Discover Labyrinths LLC in the San Francisco Bay Area, inheriting his mentor's custom tools, extensive labyrinth library, and workshop curriculum.
In 2017, Lars was recognized by his peers as a Master Builder, a distinction honoring his expertise, craftsmanship, and leadership within the global labyrinth community.
