Itinerary: The Northern Frontier Road Trip 🦒
Day 1: Friday, May 1st – Nairobi to Samburu:
Depart Nairobi early for a scenic road trip through the Central Highlands. Cross the equator at Nanyuki and arrive at Samburu Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Spend your afternoon on your first game drive, spotting the "Special Five" as the sun sets over the arid landscape.
Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
Day 2: Saturday, May 2nd – Full Day Wildlife Exploration:
Awake to the crisp northern air. Spend the day exploring the riverine forests of the Ewaso Nyiro River. This is the lifeblood of the park where elephants, lions, and leopards congregate. You’ll also visit Buffalo Springs and Shaba for a truly diverse safari experience.
Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
Day 3: Sunday, May 3rd – Sunrise Drive & Return:
One final early morning game drive to catch the predators before they retreat into the shade. After a celebratory Labor Day breakfast, check out and begin the journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.
