After a grand "Month of contemporary Music" and a wonderful LABOR SONOR at Ballhaus Ost, we are back Kunsthaus KuLe, with a more intimate setting, very curious sounds and three live-performances on our little stage.
Dafne Vicente-Sandoval’s "Minos Circuit Rewired" is a site-specific exploration of the contingent musicality of feedback. Various resonant spaces – the cavities of a disassembled bassoon, the concert room itself – are made audible, turning physical volume into frequency and unintended harmony.
Luciano Maggiore’s work addresses the performativity of the musical act, the perception of it, and the obscurity that emanates from it. With the use of speakers, several analogue/digital devices as well as acoustic objects, he crafts work of dedicated simplicity and, at moments, absurdity, where the traces of the various sound media in use surface. Luciano will present his work "five legs".
Clare Cooper is an improviser and a classically trained harpist who also plays Guzheng. She’s ferocious with strings and sticks, her sound inspired by synthesizers and broken boom boxes.
