Join the Team River Runner Fredericksburg, VA Chapter for an unforgettable Labor Day weekend paddling adventure on the iconic Lower Youghiogheny River in Ohiopyle, PA!

TRR is a 501c3 non-profit and our mission is to provide all service members, veterans, and their families the opportunity to find health, healing, and community through adventure and paddlesports.
This 4-day trip will feature exciting whitewater rafting and kayaking through beautiful Class III rapids with scenic mountain landscapes.
-We have secured the overflow group site at Kentuck Campground, Ohiopyle State Park, there is room for tents and small self contained campers. If you wish to book your own site or stay elsewhere there are other lodging options in the area. The campground has full bathroom facilities including hot showers.
-The plan is to arrive Thursday evening/Friday Morning, paddle Friday, Saturday, Sunday, & Monday, depart Monday afternoon. You don't need to attend every day, you can come and go as your schedule suits.
Food arrangements are still TBD but, expect group meals, and at least one night out to dinner. (We will split group food costs)
-Please bring wicking (no cotton) top and bottom (long sleeves and longer shorts recommended for sun protection), sturdy shoes for the river (no aquasocks, crocs or flip flops), sun screen, water bottles that can be clipped in, and retention straps if you wear sun glasses.
-TRR Fredericksburg has kayaks, inflatable kayaks, and rafts available for participants.
-Other Activities: There are several other options including biking, hiking, climbing, and cultural sites like Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water and Kentuck Knob that you can pursue on your own.
