Labor Day Ride & Lunch - NC & VA Back Roads and Riding Back of the Dragon!

Get ready for an amazing ride for a great cause...The NC Fallen Firefighters Foundation!
We will be meeting at 7:45am at the Tomlin Mill One Stop - 1025 Tomlin Mill Rd, Statesville. Riders meeting around 8:15am and rolling out no later than 8:30am.
There will be a presentation of the NC Fallen Firefighters Foundation on display at the meetup, as well as one of the engines from an Iredell County Fire Dept.
We are asking for a cash donation per Jeep to ride (whatever amount you feel in your heart to donate) and 100% of the donations will go to the foundation.
1. Please make sure you have a full tank of gas when you arrive at the meetup.
2. Bring radios if you have them.
3. We will be stopping at the IGA grocery store in North Wilkesboro to pick up more Jeepers, have a potty break and grab any snacks you want for the ride. (the stop will only be for 30 mins then getting back on the road).
4. We will take beautiful country back roads all the way up to Marion Virginia where we will get on the Back of the Dragon and head up to Tazwell, Virginia where the Back of the Dragon ends.
5. Lunch will be at Back of the Dragon Pizza in Tazwell, VA. I called and spoke with them and they are graciously providing a huge lunch buffet for us. They will have every pizza on the menu on the buffet and you will get unlimited pizza, unlimited salad bar and unlimited drink refills for only $20 + tax per person! You are more than welcome to bring your own lunch if you prefer not to eat the buffet. PLEASE CLICK GOING BY SEPTEMBER 1ST IF YOU PLAN TO MAKE THIS RIDE. AMANDA THE COOK MANAGER WILL BE ORDERING ALL THE FOOD NEEDED FOR THE BUFFET AND SHE ADVISED SHE WILL NEED AN APPROX HEADCOUNT TO MAKE SURE SHE ORDERS ENOUGH FOOD TO PREPARE FOR US.
6. After we eat, all Jeeps will line up to get their picture taken in front of the dragon and then we will continue on the beautiful country back roads over to Interstate 77, stopping at Loves Gas Station right before getting on the interstate to head home.
