This new course is a 6-class series that covers the philosophy, theory and applications of Laban Movement Analysis, developed by Rudolf Laban and the Bartenieff Fundamentals, developed by Irmgard Bartenieff. This course is created to be taken in it's entirety, as each week builds upon the next. If you are not able to make one of the classes, please text Nina at 973-670-2713 and the class can be made up privately at no additional cost. By the end of this course, you will be gain the tools to observe and analyze human movement on a deeper level, and be able to break down movement into the categories of Body, Effort, Space, Shape and Phrasing. This course series is part lecture and part movement exploration. Each student will receive a complimentary journal and a binder with the schedule, course curriculum and notes. Students must sign up for all classes offered.
