While only around for a short period of time in the early 2000’s, 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐬 quickly became known for their energetic live shows and particular style of heavy music. Influenced by bands like Botch, Knut and The Dillinger Escape plan, they brought their own mix of frantic riffing, sludgy grooves and loud police sirens to anyone who was willing to cooperate. From dodgy squats in Belgium, to venues all over Europe, to festivals like Groezrock, Fluff Fest (CZ) and Pukkelpop.
OJAHPCP released only one record: “Memorial” (Isclear records/Mashnote records) in 2005 and called it quits not long after. Their members went on to play in Oathbreaker, Wiegedood, Slow Crush, Stoop Kid, Your Highness, Rise and Fall, The Setup, Living Gate and Undercover. 2025 marks the twentieth anniversary of the release of Memorial. To commemorate the occasion, OJAHPCP will return to service once more.
