LA VOICES: LA Jewish Symphony
About this Event
Experience the groundbreaking Jewish women whose music and creativity shaped Los Angeles’ cultural landscape. The Los Angeles Jewish Symphony (LAJS) presents an inspiring afternoon featuring the West Coast premiere of Victoria Bond’s Anne Frank’s Tree and the world premiere of Ansiktet for Flute and Orchestra by LAJS Young Artist Nikka Gershman. Founded in 1994 and led by Founding Artistic Director Noreen Green, the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony brings Jewish music and composers to the stage while creating space for new voices and new compositions. Its programming often bridges communities and generations through the universal language of music.
