About this Event

**The specific meeting spot will be emailed 24 hours before start time.
Los Angeles has been through a lot this past few years--from ashes to floods to ICE--but I'm also hopeful we can grow a better future. I happen to think the Los Angeles River is one of the best classrooms for this very lesson.

Join us to talk about the LA River history of climate dissaster, the poor choices our leaders made in their attempt to rebuild, a hopeful future that we are all pushing to regrow, and how we can use all this to inform and advocate for better decision making to rebuild a more connected and holistic LA.

Despite all it's current challnges, the LA River is a great place to enjoy the safety and peace that nature provides. Birds, frogs, willows swaying in the breeze, and a sunset overlooking the River with a Hollywood Sign backdrop. Join us to learn about and deeply experience a side of our Los Angeles Urban Ecology that most people will never know about.
