IMPLIED CONSENT, RELEASE OF LIABILITY & EVENT NOTICE
By purchasing a ticket, entering the venue, or attending LA RIDDIM Festival Weekend (“Event”), you (“Attendee”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Attendee understands that attending this Event includes inherent risks, including but not limited to: crowds, loud music, physical activity/dancing, weather conditions, slipping/tripping, alcohol consumption, and interactions with other guests. Attendee voluntarily assumes all risks associated with attending the Event.
2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Attendee agrees to release, waive, and hold harmless LA RIDDIM Festival Weekend, its owners, promoters, affiliates, venue partners, sponsors, contractors, employees, volunteers, security staff, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, injuries, losses, damages, or expenses arising from or related to attendance at the Event, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, theft, illness, or death.
3. MEDICAL CONSENT
Attendee grants permission for Event staff to obtain emergency medical treatment if needed. Attendee is responsible for all medical costs incurred.
4. PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE
Attendee grants LA RIDDIM Festival Weekend and its partners the irrevocable right to photograph, record, and/or film Attendee during the Event. Attendee agrees these images and recordings may be used for promotional, marketing, advertising, and social media purposes in any media format without compensation.
5. SEARCH & SECURITY POLICY
Attendee understands and agrees that all guests may be subject to security screening, including bag checks and/or personal searches as required by Event security. Prohibited items may be confiscated. Entry may be denied at the discretion of Event staff.
6. CODE OF CONDUCT / REMOVAL POLICY
Attendee agrees to behave respectfully. The Event reserves the right to remove any guest for disorderly conduct, intoxication, violence, harassment, illegal activity, or failure to comply with Event staff or venue policies. Removal will result in forfeiture of ticket without refund.
7. NO REFUND POLICY
All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued for removal, late arrival, no-show, weather, or other personal circumstances unless required by law.
8. WEATHER NOTICE (RAIN OR SHINE)
Attendee understands that this Event may take place outdoors and will proceed rain or shine, unless deemed unsafe by the Event organizers or venue.
9. DRUGS / ILLEGAL ACTIVITY

12. PERSONAL PROPERTY DISCLAIMER
Attendee acknowledges that LA RIDDIM Festival Weekend is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items including phones, wallets, jewelry, clothing, or vehicles. Attendee is solely responsible for safeguarding personal belongings.
13. VEHICLE / PARKING LIABILITY WAIVER
Attendee assumes all risk associated with parking and transportation to/from the Event. LA RIDDIM Festival Weekend is not responsible for towing, theft, accidents, damages, or incidents occurring in parking areas, streets, rideshare drop-offs, or surrounding premises.
14. ALCOHOL & INTOXICATION RESPONSIBILITY
Attendee acknowledges that alcohol may be served at the Event. Attendee agrees to drink responsibly and assumes all risks related to alcohol consumption. Attendee releases the Event from liability related to intoxication, overconsumption, or alcohol-related incidents.
15. STRICT PROHIBITION OF WEAPONS
Weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited, including firearms, knives, mace, tasers, or any object considered dangerous by security. Any attendee found with prohibited items may be denied entry or removed immediately without refund.
16. JOUVERT / POWDER / PAINT / WATER CONSENT (IMPORTANT)
Attendee acknowledges that Jouvert celebrations may include water, powder, paint, mud, colored materials, or similar substances. By attending, Attendee consents to being exposed to these materials and assumes all responsibility for any impact on clothing, hair, shoes, skin, eyes, personal items, or medical sensitivities.
Attendee agrees that LA RIDDIM Festival Weekend is not liable for allergic reactions, skin irritation, or damage to personal belongings due to Jouvert materials.
17. SOUND & LIGHTING WARNING
Attendee acknowledges the Event may include loud music, flashing lights, smoke effects, strobe lighting, and special effects. Attendee assumes all risks related to hearing damage, dizziness, epilepsy/seizures, or physical discomfort.
18. AGE REQUIREMENTS / ID POLICY
Attendee acknowledges the Event may be age-restricted and requires valid government-issued identification for entry. Entry may be denied without proper ID, with no refund.
19. FORCE MAJEURE / EVENT CHANGES
LA RIDDIM Festival Weekend reserves the right to modify event times, performers, venue spaces, programming, or schedule due to circumstances beyond its control including weather, safety concerns, government restrictions, emergency situations, venue decisions, or acts of God. No refunds will be issued except as required by law.
20. THIRD-PARTY VENDORS & ACTIVITIES DISCLAIMER
Attendee acknowledges that vendors, performers, sponsors, and third parties may operate independently at the Event. LA RIDDIM Festival Weekend is not responsible for any services, products, injuries, damages, disputes, or transactions involving third-party vendors.
21. ENTRY DENIAL RIGHTS
LA RIDDIM Festival Weekend reserves the right to refuse entry to any person at its discretion, including for safety, capacity, dress code violations, intoxication, disorderly conduct, or failure to comply with event rules.
22. ACCEPTANCE OF EVENT RULES
Attendee agrees to follow all Event rules, venue rules, and staff instructions. Failure to comply may result in removal without refund.
23. GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Georgia.
24. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
If any part of this agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections shall remain in full effect.
By purchasing a ticket, receiving a wristband, entering the venue, or attending LA RIDDIM Festival Weekend, Attendee acknowledges they have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to all terms, waivers, and releases stated above.
NOTICE: ENTRY = CONSENT
By entering LA RIDDIM Festival Weekend, you agree to security screening, photo/video recording, and release LA RIDDIM Festival Weekend & venue partners from liability. You assume all risk. No refunds. Rain or Shine.
