N’ayant reçu que des commentaires élogieux à la suite de la dernière édition de la Marche pour la fermeture des abattoirs, on reprend la même formule cette année.
Tout au long du parcours, une trame sonore accompagnera les marcheur·euses. On y entendra les cris déchirants d’animaux marchant vers la mort. Une narration – en grande partie en français, mais aussi en anglais – expliquera au public ce qu’on entend : les cris de mort de ces animaux sensibles qui ne demandent qu’à vivre.
On tient à vous avertir : ce sera difficile. Difficile à entendre. Difficile à ressentir, mais ce n’est évidemment rien comparé à ce que subissent ces animaux.
Puisqu’on nous empêche de montrer ce qui s’y passe, nous allons le faire entendre. Nous allons faire ressentir les atrocités que vivent les animaux abattus pour notre plaisir gustatif.
N’hésitez pas à venir afficher vos valeurs. Trop d’animaux continuent de souffrir et de subir l’horreur de ces abattoirs à cause d’humains non renseignés. Soyons nombreux à sensibiliser le plus de personnes possible à cette cause. Fermons les abattoirs !

Having received nothing but positive feedback following the last edition of the March to Close the Slaughterhouses, we're using the same approach this year.
Throughout the route, a soundtrack will accompany the marchers. The heartbreaking cries of animals marching to their deaths will be heard. A narration—mostly in French, but also in English—will explain to the audience what we're hearing: the death cries of these sentient animals who are only asking to live.
We want to warn you: it will be difficult. Difficult to hear. Difficult to feel, but it's obviously nothing compared to what these animals endure.
Since we're prevented from showing what's happening there, we're going to make it heard. We're going to make people feel the atrocities endured by animals slaughtered for our culinary pleasure.
Don't hesitate to come and show your values. Too many animals continue to suffer and endure the horrors of these slaughterhouses because of uninformed humans. Let's all raise awareness about this cause to as many people as possible. Let's close the slaughterhouses!
