La Joven Guardia Del Teatro Latino Presents "La Casa de Bernarda Alba”

Celebrate Latine Heritage Month at the Community Folk Art Center! Join us in the Blackbox Theater, October 14th – 17th at 7:00 PM for "La Casa de Bernarda Alba, " a Spanish-language play by Federico García Lorca, adapted by Naomi Zulueta Zamora and Kimberly Seipio Santana; music and lighting by Brad Beckman; assistant director Lily Beckman; and directed by José Miguel Hernández Hurtado. Synopsis: In García Lorca’s modern classic, an authoritarian mother exercises her ruthless power over her family until the desire for freedom challenges and confronts her authority. A revealing look at the hypocrisy and deception that corrupt human relationships. General admission is $10 per person.
