The event will salute outstanding jazz artists and they'll all perform. The honoree bass legend Marcus Miller with his band; Jazz Vocalist 2024 Veronica Swift with her quartet; Academy award-winning Director/Composer/Arranger Kris Bowers; and Flip & Shelly Manne New Talent Awardee Taylor Lee with his quartet. Hosted by the amazing Alonzo Bodden this event is the annual fundraiser for LAJS jazz programs for young people.Three Jazz Educators will also be honored - Chad Bloom, Robert Hackett and John Mosely; and a special Jazz Advocacy Award will salute and thank LA City Council President Paul Krekorian.
