Thế kỷ 19 là một thời kỳ đặc biệt của âm nhạc Pháp. Những nhà soạn nhạc như Cécile Chaminade, Gabriel Fauré, César Franck và Camille Saint-Saëns đã tạo nên một thế giới âm nhạc vừa tinh tế vừa giàu cảm xúc, nơi vẻ đẹp thanh lịch luôn song hành với chiều sâu nội tâm. La France Romantique đưa khán giả bước vào thế giới ấy qua những tác phẩm viết cho violin và piano. Hai nhạc cụ sẽ đối thoại cùng nhau, có lúc nâng đỡ dịu dàng, có lúc thách thức mạnh mẽ, giống như hai tri âm lâu năm đồng điệu.
Một điểm đặc biệt của chương trình là sự hội tụ của hai nghệ sĩ mang dòng máu Việt Nam đang hoạt động trong môi trường âm nhạc cổ điển tại Pháp: Nghệ sĩ violin Nguyễn Hữu Nguyên và nghệ sĩ piano Mathilde Nguyen. Lần trở về này, họ mang theo những tác phẩm đã gắn bó với hành trình nghệ thuật của mình, để chia sẻ với khán giả trong một không gian biểu diễn gần gũi, cảm xúc, và rực rỡ với những khoảnh khắc virtuosité - Những đoạn nhạc đòi hỏi kỹ thuật biểu diễn cao, nơi nghệ sĩ thể hiện sự điêu luyện và khả năng kiểm soát tuyệt đối trên nhạc cụ của mình.

The 19th century was a remarkable period for French music. Composers such as Cécile Chaminade, Gabriel Fauré, César Franck, and Camille Saint-Saëns created a musical world that is both refined and deeply expressive, where elegance is always accompanied by emotional depth. La France Romantique invites audiences into this world through works written for violin and piano, a repertoire in which the two instruments do far more than simply accompany one another. They engage in a dialogue, sometimes supportive, sometimes challenging, much like two kindred spirits who understand each other profoundly. At times the music is gentle and lyrical, at others it surges with intensity, and occasionally it shines with moments of virtuosity.
A special feature of this program is the collaboration of two artists of Vietnamese heritage who are currently active in the French classical music scene: violinist Nguyen Huu Nguyen and pianist Mathilde Nguyen. In France, the music of Fauré, Franck, and Saint-Saëns forms a familiar part of chamber music life. On this return to Vietnam, the two artists bring with them works that have accompanied their own artistic journeys, sharing them in an intimate and emotionally resonant concert setting.
