La Fonda – Downtown Summer Sounds

Local indie-pop artist La Fonda will take the stage at 999 3rd as part of our Downtown Summer Sounds concert series on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
Seattle indie rock band La Fonda, fronted by Filipino American sisters Valerie and Veronica Topacio, blends atmospheric shoegaze, dream pop and alt-rock with songs rooted in sisterhood, identity and survival. Joined by Jesse Cole, Bryan Dever and Jacob Whinihan, La Fonda has opened for artists including Snail Mail, Joseph and Alvvays, establishing the band as a powerful voice in the city’s indie rock scene.
The Downtown Seattle Association is proud to present Downtown Summer Sounds, our summer concert series that has been bringing free live, local music to downtown Seattle for more than 45 years.
