La Danubio (2020) is a Venezuelan portrait of a 50-year strong iconic Caracas pastry shop and the “sweet, sour, and salty" sides of running a multi-generational family business. The matriarch, Eva, and her three sons, and grandchildren all have personalities larger than life and make the business thrive, in contrast to the crumbling, turbulent situation of their country.
