Celebrated since 1926, World Thinking Day is a day of international friendship. It is an opportunity to speak out on issues that affect 8.9 million Girl Scouts/Guides in 152 countries. Girl Scouts and Girl Guides celebrate World Thinking Day each February. Each year has its own theme, such as helping the environment, fighting poverty, achieving gender equality, or making sure everyone has access to education. The theme for the 2025 World Thinking Day is Our Story: Reflecting the symbolism and values of our Movement.
Celebrate each country that our Girl Scout troops and community organizations are representing with food samples, dance performances, games and more! Learn about how each country is affected by the 2025 theme.
This event is free! Please consider bringing coins to drop into donation bins at each booth for a donation to WAGGGS.
This event is hosted by the Onalaska Girl Scout Troop 7571. We encourage all Girl Scouts to attend in uniform. The Girl Scout Sashay shop will have a table at the event to purchase a World Thinking Day patch for your Girl Scouts. This event is open to the public.
