La Casa – Latino Arts Centre Advancing Sociocultural Awareness invites the Sault Ste Marie community to a vibrant and enriching celebration of Latino culture! This event is a wonderful opportunity to explore and immerse yourself in the rich traditions, arts, crafts and sociocultural awareness of Latino heritage. Event Highlights:
- Cultural Performances: Enjoy captivating performances showcasing the incredible talents of Latino artists. From music to dance, these performances promise to delight and inspire.
- Special Guests: Meet special guests who will share their insights and experiences, adding depth and context to La Casa’s cultural celebration.
- Logo Reveal: Witness the exciting reveal of La Casa’s new logo, symbolizing our mission and vision for the future.
- Dance Floor: Join us on the dance floor starting at 5:30 pm for an evening of Latino music and dancing!

- Date: Saturday, June 29, 2024
- Time: 3:30 pm (doors open), 4:00 pm (celebration begins), 5:30 pm (dance floor begins)
- Location: The Moose Lodge located at 543 Trunk Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON, P6A 3T1
- Admission: FREE of Charge & Open to everyone! (Donations Welcome)
As a non-profit organization, La Casa relies on the generous support of the community to continue our work in advancing Latino arts & culture. While admission to the event is free, donations are kindly accepted and greatly appreciated.
Food & Beverages:
- On Sale: Pizza, donuts, coffee, and drinks will be available for purchase. Please bring cash as no debit or credit cards will be accepted. An ATM will be available on the premises.
- Proceeds: All proceeds from food and beverage sales will go towards funding future community events and empowering Latino and local artists in Sault Ste. Marie.
This is a family-friendly event open to everyone. Bring your family, friends, and neighbours for a day filled with culture, creativity, and community spirit!
