On September 20 from 2pm-3:30pm, I'll present a program on Latinx Rock from the 1950s through the 1980s at Morgan Hill Library on 660 West Main Avenue. I'll show and discuss film clips of Latinx performers from the 1950s through the 1980s. This
particularly focuses on Latinx music from San Francisco and Los
Angeles, also including rockers from other regions like Texas and
Puerto Rico. Footage of greats such as Santana, Malo, Ritchie Valens, Thee Midniters, the Sir Douglas Quintet, Linda Ronstadt, Jose Feliciano, and Los Lobos will be featured. This event will not be recorded.
