Kọ Café’s monthly Open Mic Night is a space where voices rise, stories are shared, and artistry flourishes. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or stepping up to the mic for the first time, this is your moment to shine!
This month, we're excited to welcome Ali, a multifaceted singer, songwriter, poet, and multi-instrumentalist whose artistry bridges music and spoken word.
Known for blending genres and storytelling into her own unique sound, Ali plays guitar, keys, and drums and has released her self-produced EP, In Bloom, available on all streaming platforms.
As a poet, Ali has made her mark on NYC's spoken word scene, winning the Nuyorican Monday Night Slam at the Bowery and performing at venues and events including Shiggy Slam, Brooklyn Music Kitchen, Mictastic at the Off-Off Broadway Vino Theater, Taste of Sounds, One Love One Mic, and Poetic Affair. She also co-produces Too Much & Extra, one of NYC's premier open mic events.
