Kūpuna & Moʻopuna: Celebrating Our Community
Join Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center for Kūpuna & Moʻopuna: Celebrating Our Community in honor of National Health Center Week.
This FREE community event brings together kūpuna, moʻopuna, families, and community members for a morning of culture, connection, and learning on the WCCHC Main Campus Makai Lawn.
Enjoy hands-on cultural experiences led by the WCCHC’s Native Hawaiian Healing Center and Ha Ola Mau, including:
- Lauhala Weaving
- Lei Hulu
- Other Cultural Demonstrations and Activities
The morning will also feature a locally sourced food demonstration by Chef Chris Fujimoto of WCCHC ‘s ʻElepaio Social Services.
Light refreshments and pupus will be provided. Guests are encouraged to bring a mat or blanket for seating on the lawn.
This event is FREE and open to the public. You do not need to be a WCCHC patient to attend. Free parking is available, and registration is encouraged.
