Kōrero & Kai is an immersive cultural event at Otawhiwhi Marae, where attendees will be welcomed with a pōwhiri and then embark on a journey of storytelling, exploring the cultural significance of kai from Te Whānau a Tauwhao. The day is based on tikanga, with the sharing of traditional foods and the deep connection between people, culture, and kai. This is a rare opportunity to experience the full richness of Māori culture and cuisine, passed down through generations. This event is a collaboration with the Echo Walking Festival. Limited to 40 people.
