Below you will find helpful information about the day.
Our interclub is controlled contact only, no winners or losers. Everyone gets a medal 🏅🥋
Your participants will be matched with someone along similar experience and ability. In some match ups they may be of lesser or greater experience.
Please reiterate to them that they are taking part for experience to practice their skills to better prepare them for competitions and tournaments.
We reserve the right to end bouts if participants are found to be sparring without control or are not conducting themselves in an acceptable or respectful manner.
If anyone has any concerns for match ups please let me know as soon as possible.
*RULES:*
1. All bouts are controlled contact
2. No front kicks to the face
3. No Axe kicks to the face
4. Follow IFK RULES
5. Controlled head kicks
6. Everyone must wear body protectors
7. Shin guards must be worn
8. Mouth guard (optional) and groin guard must be worn
9. Respect your sparring partner and their coaching team
10. No smoking or vaping in the gym – use the designated smoking point outside
*TIMINGS:*
Weigh in: 09:30- 10:00 | first match up 10:15- 10.30 approx.
Please arrive and weigh in good time so that we can get through the day as smoothly as possible.
*ADMISSION:*
All Spectators and Participants £10
We accept cash or card which can be paid on reception upon arrival
To make the most of the day we have endeavoured to give participants more than one match up. If you have any that you would prefer only to have one, please let me know ASAP.
We have a zero-tolerance policy on intimidating and violent behaviour towards our staff and customers, anyone found to be behaving unacceptably will be asked to leave with no refunds given and they will be reported to the relevant authorities.
If you need any assistance on the day, please seek out a member of the Invictus Team (those wearing Invictus uniform) or receptionist who will be happy to assist you. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with me.
