Come celebrate the shared legacy of resilience between the African American and Jewish commuities in San Diego, CA. We are stronger together so let us come to the table. We did it last years and we are ready to open the table again!We will have worship service together, then go to the Social Hall and celebrate through ritual (lighting both the hannukiah and the kinara, saying prayers, telling the stories of our joint histories of resistance and resilience). Then we will DINE and in Kwanzaaa tradition, we will end the evening with DANCE (some classic R&B, dance, Israeli rap/hip-hop, ballads...something for everyone) -- so bring your dancing shoes!
