KWANZAA COMMUNITY CELEBRATION
About this Event
Community Kwanzaa Celebration
December 27, 2026
Join us for a joyful Community Kwanzaa Celebration as we come together to honor African heritage, celebrate our culture, and strengthen the bonds that unite us as a community.
Kwanzaa is a time to reflect on the seven principles, known as the Nguzo Saba: Umoja (Unity), Kujichagulia (Self-Determination), Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility), Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics), Nia (Purpose), Kuumba (Creativity), and Imani (Faith). These principles remind us of the importance of working together, supporting one another, honoring our ancestors, and building a stronger future for generations to come.
Our celebration will feature the vibrant rhythms of African drummers, the beauty and energy of African dance, inspiring poetry, and opportunities for fellowship, cultural expression, and community connection. Through music, movement, spoken word, and shared experiences, we will celebrate the richness of African culture and the power of coming together.
This gathering is more than a celebration; it is an opportunity to reconnect with our roots, share our traditions, embrace our diversity, and create meaningful connections among families, friends, and neighbors. It is a time to uplift one another, celebrate our collective strengths, and inspire our young people to take pride in their heritage while looking forward to a brighter future.
Everyone is welcome! Bring your family, invite your friends, and join us for an afternoon of culture, unity, joy, and fellowship as we celebrate the spirit of Kwanzaa and the power of community. Together, we honor our past, celebrate our present, and plant seeds for a stronger tomorrow.
