Meet Kurt Owen, Founder & President of Kurt Owen Ministries and the 2026 Men's Advance Conference Keynote Speaker!
Pastor Kurt has been in full-time ministry for over 30 years. He is the founder of Kurt Owen Ministries. Pastor Kurt Owen, was sick and dying of a debilitating disease, while listening to a TV minister who said, “The Bible is God speaking to you. If you believe it, it will work. If you don’t, it won’t.” These words hit him with the force of a locomotive. Pastor Kurt made up his mind that he would believe the Bible and do everything it said. Then he would know if God was real or not.
That was more than 3 decades ago and Pastor Kurt is more convinced now than ever before that the Bible is God’s Word to man – it is the blueprint for victory in every area of life. As Pastor Kurt walked with Jesus, he realized that faith, for himself and for people he met around the world, was sometimes difficult. The Lord showed him that the reason was because he and many other people knew about The Love of God but did not believe it personally for themselves. Today numerous lives have been changed and their faith operates at a much higher level because of Pastor Kurt's teaching on Knowing and Believing The Love of God.
Having started 5 churches, he traveled to 28 nations, and has seen countless people saved, healed, and grow in a deeper and more intimate relationship with Jesus and His Word. Pastor Kurt continues to travel all over the world, using every available media to teach in a practical manner the Word of God, so that any hearer can believe God's love for themselves, study The Bible, and apply the Word to their everyday life. Then they begin to walk in the life that God's love has freely provided for them and Jesus died to give them.
So, whether it’s a minister’s conference a camp meeting, a corporation, a church, a Pr*son, or a convention, you will be refreshed, encouraged, and instructed in the Word of God.
Pastor Kurt is ordained and licensed through Kenneth Copeland Ministries and Eagle Mountain Church.
Pastor Kurt is the Senior Pastor of Real Life Church with his lovely wife Pastor Terry Owen.
Pastor Sydney Ropp
Sydney & Jennifer Ropp together with their beautiful family of four children, currently reside in Lancaster County, PA where Sydney is serving as the Senior Pastor of Church of the Word International.
Jen serves as the church book keeper, secretary, and assistant to many of the different ministries within the church, as well as fulltime homemaker.
Both Sydney and Jennifer were raised and married as conservative Mennonites (Sydney from the Ozarks of Missouri and Jen from Northwestern Ohio), together they established their home and family in southwestern Colorado where they remained the next 11 years as business entrepreneurs. At the beginning of 2009 they experienced a life changing encounter with the Lord that radically shifted their world view and understanding of Christianity; which resulted in them planting our sister church in Colorado. At the instruction of the Lord they moved in 2011 to southeastern PA to assist Dale Armstrong with the work of Church of the Word International as the assistant Pastor. Since 2014 Sydney has been serving as the senior pastor of Church of the Word International in Landisville, PA and also provides oversite to their sister church in Delta, Colorado.
Sydney travels frequently throughout the Middle East, and various other countries around the world to both encourage, and provide a support system for both the local and International Christians in those places. Sydney is also a pilot and flies Church of the Word’s plane for ministry, and Church planting here in the USA. His greatest passion is to see others encounter the love of Jesus Christ, and experience the life changing personal relationship with Father God that is available to anyone who desires it. Their minor passions include physical fitness training together, playing games, and sports.
Since 2015 Sydney has also amassed hundreds of hours with multiple organizations in tactical shooting, hand-to-hand combatives, and TCCC medical training, with a special focus on third party protection and church security.
Pastor Ross Schlabach
Ross Schlabach is a passionate communicator and emerging voice in ministry dedicated to helping people walk in the truth and fullness of life that Christ came to provide. At 27 years of age, he brings both youthful energy and grounded wisdom shaped by four years of hands-on ministry experience under the mentorship of his father.
A recent graduate of Southern University, Ross holds a bachelor's degree in Ministerial Leadership. His heart beats for discipleship, clarity in teaching, and cultivating spaces where lives are transformed through the presence of God.
Recently married, Ross continues to grow in his calling, faithfully serving the local church and stepping into opportunities to speak truth with conviction, compassion, and authenticity. Whether preaching to a congregation or ministering one-on-one, he carries a deep desire to see people encounter the real Jesus and walk boldly in the purpose He's given them.
