After over twenty years of Yoga and Pilates I found Kundalini Yoga and I fell in love, I decided to immerse myself by training to be a Kundalini Yoga Teacher and found I loved it so much I wanted to teach and carry on my journey with this deeply spiritual practice.
With Kundalini Yoga I get asked “what’s the difference to other yogas” my answer is “come feel it…you got to feel it, experience it, for yourself”.
For me it felt like coming home on my mat, and integrated my meditation and mantra practises that I haven’t really seen brought together with movement and breath so comprehensively and transformatively as in Kundalini Yoga.
This is an ancient science - techniques using breath, mantra, meditation, movement - a system to open our energy lines and centres, to allow free flowing of our energy, of bringing harmony to our spiritual, energetic, mental, physical, emotional being.
A powerful technology to move, unlock, purify our energy and bring us back to our selves back to our natural state of joy, love, light, bliss, connectedness.
Supporting us to find calm in the chaos of the world and bring us into our neutral state.
In class we are focused inward with our eyes closed, nostril breathing and gaze at our third eye helping us to find our calm and centre and neutral mind.
I will guide you through the kriyas and we take time after each to sit in the silence, inwardly reflecting and meditating.
Anyone can do kundalini yoga and all are welcome. In some kundalini lineages white is worn for class - if this in your practice please follow it however I choose not to adopt this. I wear colour in my practice and in teaching.
As long as you are comfy and come move freely any attire is welcome.
