KUNDALINI YOGA

Kundalini is a powerful form of yoga that combines movement, breathwork + chanting to activate Kundalini energy. Kundalini energy, also known as shakti, sits at the base of the spine and it is said that through a regular practice this energy can be awakened, which has been scientifically shown to activate parts of the brain that increase awareness.

During Kundalini Yoga you can expect a heavy dose of breath work, chanting and repititive movement. All levels, including those who have never practiced before are welcome!

SILENT DISCO

Have you ever seen a “silent disco”? This is the technology that we will be using for our immersion. In a silent disco, people listen to the music by wearing wireless headphone, rather than a speaker system. Those without the headphones hear no music, and people with headphones don’t hear any noise within the room to distract them. During our Noiseless Yoga immersion, each participant will be given a wireless headphone where they will listen to the music and instructions from the teacher with the opportunity to turn up or down the volume to their preference.

Using the “silent disco” format allows you to dive deep into chanting and breath without worrying about what we sound like - because no one can hear us. This allows us to go inward and experience the true-lasting benefits of this practice.

Your guide MATTERS! This immersion will be led by Lorraine Williams. She has a long list of qualifications next to her name which include a 500-hour Kundalini Yoga certification. She has been successfully leading group fitness and yoga for over two decades, and it shows as she BRILLIANTLY lead us through this one-of-a-kind experience with love, openness and a little bit of humor.
