Come as you are. Lay down, close your eyes, and simply be. Your internal wisdom and energy will do the rest of the work.

So, what is KAP exactly?

Kundalini Activation Practice (KAP) is a gentle, nourishing, surrender-based energy practice that can help you release what's weighing you down and connect with yourself in a new way.

Think of it as a deep reset — for your nervous system, your emotions, and your spirit. Whatever is stuck in your energy field or physical body and ready to move, has an opportunity to come up and be cleared. Preparing the way for the next steps on your personal path. The transformative effects of Kundalini activation can catalyze shifts in consciousness, release old patterns, and awaken latent potentials, leading to greater self-awareness and spiritual evolution.

Some people come for the spiritual journey that it supports, some come for clarity or healing, and some come because they're simply ready to discharge stress and recenter themselves.

All are completely valid and welcome here.

What is different about an intensive?

An intensive allows you to go much deeper into process than typically happens in our regular practice.

The extended duration facilitates a profound level of surrender. This allows participants an abundance of time to break through any mental, emotional, or physical barriers to their healing or expansion due to enhanced receptivity of the high frequencies of the field available during transmission.

Participating in a KAP Intensive also brings individuals together in a shared journey of exploration and transformation. The experience of support in community can also provide a network of like-minded individuals for ongoing growth and connection if desired.

Our August 22nd intensive includes two extended 90 minute sessions, a short break and light snack in the middle, and ample time for community integration.

The first session will additionally have the added element of sound healing towards the end while we continue to hold the field for the full session.

If you’re curious about our training…

We are trained by Alexandra Michelle, spiritual scholar and founder of Kundalini Arts —a lineage that is heart-centered as well as trauma-aware.

What actually happens in a session?

We start by saying "hi" and circling up together to create a safe space for all. From there, lay down and let go. You’ll be guided into relaxation while a curated and dynamic playlist sets the tone.

While facilitating, We’ll move through the room holding the prana shakti energy field while using gentle hand placements and light touch (with consent) on your body to support your experience.

Your body knows what it needs. Our job is to create the space and safety for it to happen in.

There's something so special about a group of people surrendering and opening up in the same space — the collective field is palpable and powerful.

It truly adds a really beautiful layer to this work.

You might feel subtle tingles or warmth, experience spontaneous movements, waves of emotion, deep stillness, or vivid inner imagery. Some people cry, some laugh, some feel absolutely blissed out, and others may just rest during the session but days later acknowledge clarity, deeper insight, and other meaningful movements.

There's no right way to experience this. And if at any point you want to stop, you simply sit up and open your eyes — you are always conscious and in charge.

What do I need to do during the session?

Honestly? Not much.

We’ll walk you through everything before we begin. You'll lie down on your yoga mat, get comfortable, and let go. Your only job is to get out of your own way and let your inner intelligence take the wheel. The music will help carry you there. Just follow it, breathe, and trust the process.

What should I do to prepare?

Try to eat lightly or fast for a few hours before the session. It doesn't have to be perfect, but coming in on a full stomach can make it harder to fully relax and drop in.

Avoiding heavy foods, alcohol, and drugs, plant medicines, or mind altering substances beforehand really does make a difference. These things can cloud your energy field, dampen the experience, or in some cases open you up faster than your system is ready for. The cleaner you come in, the more you'll get out of it.

There are no prerequisites and no experience necessary — if you feel called to be here, you're welcome.

A gentle but important note

* KAP is a safe practice that works with your body's own natural energy — but it isn't the right fit for everyone. Out of care for your wellbeing, this practice is not recommended for those who experience mania, paranoia, delusion, or psychosis.

* It's also really important that you come with a clear, sober mind and body. Mixing KAP with plant medicines or other psychoactive substances isn't just discouraged — it can lead to unnecessarily intense and difficult experiences. When practiced as intended, KAP is a gentle, gradual, and beautifully integrative path. Let's keep it that way. 🤍

What might you feel afterward?

Many people notice a sense of clarity, emotional lightness, or unexpected insights in the days that follow. You might sleep more deeply, dream vividly, or just feel a little more like yourself again. Honor whatever comes up — your body and spirit are still doing good work even after the session ends.

A note on the journey

KAP is a practice, not a one-time fix. Like meditation, this builds over time. With regular sessions, many people notice a shift — feeling more grounded, more open, and more at home in themselves.
