KUMC Speaker Series featuring Dr. Richard Beck

Keller United Methodist Church is excited to launch our inaugural Speaker Series with special guest Richard Beck on August 1–2. Dr. Beck is Professor of Psychology and Senior Fellow of the Saunders Center for Joy and Human Flourishing at Abilene Christian University, as well as the author of nine books, including The Book of Love and The Shape of Joy. Throughout the weekend, Dr. Beck will guide our congregation through conversations on joy, love, faith, and the deeply human work of spiritual transformation.
The weekend will include a Saturday evening catered dinner and facilitated discussion centered around The Shape of Joy, from 6-8pm. Cost for the dinner/discussion is $25 per person. Reservations required by July 22 for this event. Childcare is available for infant-kindergarten. If you have an older child that needs care, please contact Kristin Springer to make arrangements.
